Luke is an
amazing horse in
every
single
way.
This special boy made a seamless transition to saddle and has always been incredibly willing to please.
Nothing is too much to ask of Luke; he brings enthusiasm and intelligence to all tasks.
Luke is shows an aptitude for dressage - with talent to burn and a limitless future.
Luke quickly learned to canter full school and 20m canter circles calmly on both leads (he is a canter junkie!)
More recently, Luke has been working on correct leg yielding technique and improving his dressage frame.
He is now a consistent, soft and supple mount who will easily float through the grades under the right rider.
He offers a delightfully comfortable, responsive ride.
A very talented dressage rider recently boarded Luke and had him doing shoulder-in and half-pass in a matter of minutes. He is impressive!
Luke has been schooled twice over small jumps and had an absolute ball. Confident canter approaches without prompting.
Luke also very much enjoyed the several trail rides we took with Bailey down the road. Defensive dogs, trucks and 'scary' objects - no fuss!
He is also great with kids and a variety of pets - dogs, chooks and even guinea pigs!
Luke is incredibly responsive, vice-free and would make an ideal pony club or adult rider's club horse.
He was an absolute gentleman to take out and compete.
He is in full work and acquiring new skills every day.
Luke is a dream to catch, float, worm, shoe, lunge, prepare for shows etc. He is also very gentle and trustworthy.
We have decided to keep Luke on at RTS for the time being, as a competition and PC/HRCAV mount for trainer Nicole. We thank all the riders who applied for this special boy and are no longer accepting enquiries for Luke.
